Eastbank Artists, Inc.

In order to establish a professional organization of visual artists in the greater La Crosse, WI region, an assembly of like-minded artist came together in 1976 to found Eastbank Artists, Inc.

The purposes of Eastbank Artists, Inc., as stated in the bylaws will be:
1. To promote education in the visual arts within the greater La Crosse Region.
2. To develop interest, both private and public in the visual arts.
3. To provide examples of excellence in the fine arts and crafts.

Eastbank meets the last Tuesday of each month at the Pump House Regional Arts Center,119 King St., La Crosse, WI 54601. Meetings have a critique at 5:30 pm and the meeting starts at 6:30 pm. Prospective artists age 18 and over are encouraged to join, by bringing in three (3) pieces of their artwork in person to a Eastbank meeting. Members are juried for entry into Eastbank by a committee of at least three (3) current Members in good standing. Each adjudicator will evaluate the artwork presented independently using criteria of craftsmanship, design, presentation, and continuity. Yearly membership fee is $25.
